		<description>The big problem here is that Applications and Databases are seperate. You cant change the name of a column in the database and expect it to change in the database. With some advancement in this direction with IDE&#039;s it wont matter whether you use stored procedures or code.

Stored procedures do offer things that code doesn&#039;t. If you have to check in the database for something before executing a statement you might be doing unnecesary round trips doing it in code. However for most crud operations code should be perfectly fine!</description>
